"All my work is drawing in space, in three dimensions. I make fragments of forged steel and then assemble them, by welding, into finished works.
This Group (Samurai Series) is linked by ideas that occurred during the time of their making. Violence and civil war in the Balkans was the background for Brainless, 30 Calibre. The moment in time when an adult is shot to pieces while the child clings helplessly. Or Samurai, who's armour is no longer of use against a new ultimate generation of weapons, leaving the warrior looking upon a changed landscape, wondering what has replaced honesty and trust."
